Wedding at Magnolia Planation in Charleston, SC | Brooke & Tanner

I had known Brooke for a few years before her wedding and I was so excited when she inquired about her wedding day at a beautiful local venue. A few months into planning, she reached back out with the desire to cancel her current wedding plans and have a small destination wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is one of my favorite places so it was a quick yes for me!

They planned their wedding day at Magnolia Plantation and it was just beautiful. I could stay there with those trees for so many hours. It was my first time at this venue and it was the epitome of a classic Low Country venue. The trees and Spanish mosh, glowy light, and the bridge at this venue had me so excited to photograph there. Brooke & Tanner were surrounded by their best friends and families (and their cute pup Miller) for their ceremony. It was such a sweet ceremony and so full of emotion.

Doing portraits of the wedding party and couple were obviously so fun for me. This place was seriously a photographer’s heaven. We were all absolutely roasting in the August heat, but that didn’t take away from the photos at all. They finished up the day with some special dances and a little after party. Brooke & Tanner were so fun to work with and as always, it’s so special to be a small part of the day.

It was an absolute honor to capture their day. I have been so behind on blogging and looking back on the day has been so fun for me. It was such a perfect Charleston wedding. Enjoy my many, many favorites!
