DELANIE | SENIOR REPRESENTATIVE SESSION | RURAL RETREAT, VA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

I love when my seniors come to their session with some unique ideas and locations and Delanie definitely did. We started off downtown with some photos that incorporated her high school basketball career, and we found some super cute local locations. My favorite part of the session just might have been the part where she asked to take photos in the middle of the sunniest road in town. The sun was SO high and bright, but I worked a little behind the scenes magic and I love those photos! We finished up with a beautiful sunset on a mountain. You would never know it was freezing based on these photos!

What are you looking forward to the most about your senior year?
Graduation and basketball season.

What activities are you involved in both in and out of school?
In school I am on the Rural Retreat basketball team, NHS, SCA, FCCLA, FFA, and FCA. Out of school I am on the NRV Storm travel basketball program.

What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday? 
Probably go to a Virginia Tech game with my friends and family.

What can’t you live without? 
I couldn’t live without my friends and family.

What is your favorite song right now?  
My favorite song right now is “The Way I Talk” by Morgan Wallen.

Have you thought about what you’re going to do after high school? What would you like to do?
I think I am going to go to WCC for a semester or year to finish my associates degree then hopefully transfer to Virginia Tech to become a Physical Therapist.
