It’s finally wedding season again after a really wacky 202 and I am so excited to share my first wedding of the year with you!
When Brooke contacted me last year, I didn’t realize that she was from my area or that her fiance’ was a former Algebra 2 student of mine. I haven’t been a teacher for almost 7 years, but it’s still so crazy to me that the kids I taught are adults who are getting married and having kids. Thanks to the craziness of last year and schedules, I didn’t actually get to meet up with Brooke & Jacob until this year for their engagement photos and then their wedding day came quickly after.
These two picked a beautiful venue with some of the best views I’ve seen for a wedding day. Mountain views from every angle and a beautiful barn with lighting that makes any photographer’s heart happy. I loved all of Brooke’s details and her dress was absolutely gorgeous. The girls and groomsmen decided to play a little prank on Jacob for the first look so be sure to be on the lookout for that. It was hilarious and involved actual rope!
Brooke and Jacob planned for a first look, a daddy/daughter first look (that was so sweet), and prayers before the ceremony. It really was such a sweet day that flowed so nicely. We didn’t see much of the sun and I know the bride and bridesmaids were freezing, but otherwise…it was really a perfect day!
Per usual, I have SO many sneak peeks to share on this blog. But hey…better too many than not enough! Enjoy a very large number of my favorites!
And thank you to these vendors who made this day so beautiful!
