I have to say…I’m pretty darn excited to share these photos. Last summer, Olivia let me know that she wanted to do part of her session at Grayson Highlands State Park. We planned to do half her session locally and half at Grayson Highlands. After lots of busy schedules and rain causing reschedules, we got both parts done! So, this session is a two part one and the dates we photographed are actually about 2 months apart!
Thankfully, we were able to do the first part of Olivia’s session in July and even though it did rain on us a little, the photos were beautiful. We used some local property that I love and the summer is probably my favorite time to shoot in those fields. I loved the entire shoot.
Finally, we made it to Grayson Highlands in September and it was absolutely a dream. I had never been before and it was so so gorgeous. Olivia got to witness my terribly out of shape self mouth breathing all the way up the mountain, but man…it was so worth it. You really just have to see the photos! We got there just as leaves were beginning to change color and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are just nuts. And of course, Olivia is so insanely photogenic that I don’t think she can take a bad picture.
Before you enjoy some of my favorites from this session, get to know a little more about Olivia!
